Grant Scheme to facilitate the participation of Georgian Scientists in Brokerage Events

Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (SRNSF) participates in the project “STI International Cooperation Network for Eastern Partnership Countries” ( IncoNet EaP. ), which was funded under the EU 7-th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) . The IncoNet EaP project has developed a grant scheme to financially support the participation of local researchers from Eastern Partnership countries in large-scale brokerage events and other similar activities in EU Member States or Associated Countries, which are related to Horizon 2020. Such events provide an excellent arena for researchers to liaise and develop synergies, therefore the participation of researchers from the targeted countries will increase their opportunities to get involved and be taken onboard in consortia set up in EU MS/AC countries. It will also allow the researchers to make their institutions and/or their research networks better known. The thematic priorities of the call are the three Societal Challenges targeted by the project, namely: 'Health', 'Energy' and 'Climate Change'. The events that can be chosen from will be: Networking events, Brokerage events organised by the European Commission, large international events organised by other European networks (e.g Enterprise Europe Network).   Deadline for Submission of Documents: 11 April, 2016, 17:00 hrs. (Tbilisi time) -   for the Brokerage Events scheduled between 25 April - 15 May. 1 May, 2016, 17:00 hrs. (Tbilisi time) – for the Brokerage Events scheduled between 15 May 30 June. International Conference on training for National Contact Points Eastern Partnership countries

In 16-17 March 2017, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine hosted an international conference training for representatives of H2020 national contact points from the Eastern Partnership countries. The main purpose of the event was to the exchange the best practices for the establishment of an effective network of NCP in the Eastern Partnership countries, representatives of NCP training to improve their professional skills and commitment. IncoNet EaP Summer School 2016

IncoNet EaP Summer School - Call for application: "Energy Efficiency. International Project Management – from Theory to Practice"; Istanbul/Turkey from 13th to 17th of June 2016. Invited are early-stage researchers and research project managers from EaP and EU/AC countries active in the field of “energy efficiency” who are interested in participating in Horizon 2020 in the pillars of “Excellent Science” (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) and “Societal Challenges” (Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy) are invited to apply for the summer school. The aim is to learn more about the steps of project management processes in international scientific projects in particular related to Horizon 2020 cooperative projects as well as Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions to support mobility. Scholarship Program of Slovak Republic Universities

Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation shares information about National Scholarship Program of Slovak Republic. Students, researchers and university teachers are eligible applicants for scholarship at Slovak Republic Universities and research institutions during academic year 2016/2017.  To receive scholarships, it is necessary to complete and submit an application form online not later than April 30, the current year (until 16:00 Central European Time, UGT), on the following webpage: in Slovak, English, Russian, French and Spanish languages. National Scholarship Program for the Supports of Mobility of University Students, PhD Students, University Teachers, Researchers and Artists was established by the approval of the Government of the Slovak Republic.
