Call for Basic Research Grants aims at supporting the development of scientific research in Georgia, generating a new knowledge, analyzing theories and models with experimental and theoretical methods and therefore creating perspectives on economic, social and political, cultural and informational progress in the country. Basic research grant proposals may refer to wide variety of scientific disciplines such as natural sciences, medicine, agrarian sciences, social and political sciences, humanities, Georgian studies, engendering and technologies. Call for Basic Research Grants supports the creation of a competitive research environment, bringing research in Georgia closer to the international standards, supporting research integration into the higher education, facilitating active engagement of young scientists in scientific projects.
Target audience: Higher Educational Institutions of Georgia, research-focused institutions, independent centers and the related researchers.
Duration: Basic Research Grant projects may have the duration of 6-36 months.
