The aim of the call: Development of scientific research projects in the cross-border regions of Georgia; their approximation with international standards; creation of advanced knowledge; learning new ideas and concepts, facts and events, their analysis; dissemination of research results; sharing experiences between different research generations; integration of research processes into higher educational institutions; grow the potential of young scientists;

Terms of the Call:
As a part of the grant call, two lots will be provided for financing
- First lot - Implementation of scientific research projects in the cross-border regions of Georgia;
- Second lot - Organizing international scientific events.
Projects can be submitted in the following fields as specified by the Classification of Scientific fields:
- Natural sciences.
- Technology and engineering.
- Medical and Health Sciences
- Agricultural Sciences.
- Social sciences.
For organizing scientific research projects
- Funding required for a scientific research project should not exceed 60,000 GEL
- Duration of the project should be 12 months
For organizing an international scientific event
Grant funding required for a single project should not exceed:
Conference 30 000GEL
Congress 30 000 GEL
The project of international scientific events should be completed no later than October 30, 2020.

October 4, 2019 - Announcement of the call according to the established rule
October 11, 2019 - Date of opening electronic registration database - Grants Management Unified System (GMUS)
Group consultations:
October 11 - 16:00 P.M.
October 21 - 14:00 P.M.
From October 11 till October 25, 18:00 P.M – Date of registration of project in electronic database – GMUS
October 29, till 18:00 p.m. - Deadline for submitting application to the Foundation’s Chancellery.
November-December - Determination of relevance of registered projects with the terms of the call (technical expertise); Evaluation of projects registered under the terms of the call, detection of winners and approval with the individual administrative-legal act of Foundation’s Director General; Publication of call results; Grant agreement with the winners.

Important information for applicants:
- In order to prepare the project, it is necessary to read in details both the Minister's and director General’s decrees on approved terms and condition, as well as, relevant appendixes;
