Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia disseminates information about the information day on the COST Actions that will take place on May 4, 2018 at 16:00 at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The audience will be given information about the COST activities and opportunities.

Aim of the COST Actions is to support cooperation and networking between scientists and develop scientific mobility projects.

Dr. Sierd Cloetingh – the President of the COST Association will participate in the meeting. Title of the presentation: Perspectives of the COST Association: Spreading Scientific Excellence and enhancement”;

Dr. Inga Dadeshidze – Science Policy Officer, representative of the COST Association will also held the presentation, titled “The practicalities of the COST Actions and the benefits of participation”.

COST Actions includes the following activities for the researchers and engineers:

• Participation in workshops, seminars and trainings;
• Short term scientific visits in research organizations and institutions of one of the COST countries.
• Dissemination activities and publishing scientific articles;
• Calls for conference grants, giving PhD students and beginner researchers opportunity to participate in international scientific and technological conferences.

COST Actions do not fund the research projects.
