Zviad gabisonia, General Director of the National Science Foundation of Georgia, has been elected as a member of the Board of Governors and a representative of Georgia in three EU committees
At the submission of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, Prof. Zviad Gabisonia has been selected by the relevant European Commission structures from three European Union organizations - the European Research Area Committee (ERAC), the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) and the European EOSC (European Open Science cloud) As a member of the Board of Governors and a representative of Georgia.
ERAC (The European Research Area Committee) - The European Research Area's Innovation Committee is the main advisory body for the development and support of EU scientific, research and innovation policy.
ESFRI (European Straregy Forum on Research Infrastructures) - The European Strategic Forum on Research Infrastructure is a strategic EU body with the aim of developing and supporting scientific infrastructure in the EU and associated countries.
EOSC (European Open Science Cloud) - is an European Commission program which aims to replace expensive international scientific databases with accessible and free scientific databases for member states.
