III International Symposium of Young Scientists in Humanitarian Studies

On November 27, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) hosted the 3rd International Symposium of Young Scientists in Humanities. Symposium was organized by TSU Faculty of Humanities, with the support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. As a result of double anonymous review of Expert Committee of TSU faculty of Humanities, created for the symposium, up to 90 theses of young scientists have been selected.

The symposium was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of TSU.

Nana Gaprindashvili delivered a speech at the symposium and Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation – Prof. Zviad Gabisonia, Chairman of the State Department of the Georgian Language - George Alibegashvili and Vice-rector of Tbilisi State University - Nino Gvenetadze welcomed audience. Georgian, as well as, foreign speakers from universities: in Italy, France, Poland, Latvia, Serbia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, India and Brazil were also participating in the symposium.

The approaches of the Young Scientists Symposium team are constantly improving and evolving. Goal is one: establish high standards of scientific ethics and research; consider existing academic experience both, locally and internationally. The best papers to read at the symposium this year will be published in the bilingual international journal “TSU-ti”, which was created on the basis of the symposium. The 2019 International Symposium of Young Scientists is dedicated to the centennial tradition of Oriental learning and research at TSU.
