Scopus Editor Seminar
On March 10 at 15:00, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and the world-leading publishing company Elsevier organized a Scopus Editor Seminar. The representatives of the Consortium member universities and scientific research centers having access to the international scientific database of ELSEVIER, The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia as well as the representatives of two Georgian scientific journals produced and hosted in ELSEVIER database attended the event.
Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, Dr. Marine Chitashvili, gave general overview on two-year cooperation with the international world-leading online publishing company ELSEVIER BV including the future prospects for cooperation.
Vakhtang Kokilashvili and Tengiz Urushadze the Chief Editors of two Georgian scientific journals produced and hosted in ELSEVIER database, Ludmila Gvertsiteli publisher of Bulletin of The Georgian National Academy of Sciences and Aleksandre Didebulidze Secretary of Innovative Technology Center of Georgian National Academy of Sciences shared their experiences.
The event included presentations by ELSEIER representatives: Scopus Content Selection and Policy (Susanne Steiginga, Product Manager Scopus Content, ELSEVIER), Scopus for editors (Krzysztof Szymanski, Research management solutions, Elsevier).
