“Late antique and Medieval Narrative Sources of the Christian Caucasus (Construction of Ethno-Historical and Cultural Memory)”

Funded project under the framework of “Supporting Georgian Studies’ centers and programmes development abroad by the LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and the University of Oxford, titled as “Late antique and Medieval Narrative Sources of the Christian Caucasus (Construction of Ethno-Historical and Cultural Memory).

The research identifies two major scientific aspects regarding the narrative sources theoretical basics and Georgian Narrative sources as ethno self-identity with the major accents to pre-Christian events beyond. It is noteworthy that one of the article regarding the legend of Abgar belongs to the University of Oxford Bodleian Library.
