Results of the Call - “Scientific prize for outstanding scientists/groups of scientists”
On 5 August 2016, 68 proposals were submitted for the call “Scientific prize for outstanding scientists/groups of scientists” announced by LEPL - Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. The proposals were submitted in the following scientific fields:
1. Exact and Natural Sciences – 36 proposals
2. Engineering and Technologies – 6 proposals
3. Medical and Health Sciences – 5 proposals
4. Agricultural Sciences – 5 proposals
5. Social Sciences – 5 proposals
6. Humanities – 3 proposals
7. Georgian Studies – 8 proposals
On September 2, 2016, the call evaluation committee (N167 decree of SRNSF Director General of 12 August 2016 ‘on the call evaluation committee’) evaluated all 68 proposals in line with the call criteria. The committee evaluated the proposals according to the following system:
A+ - Excellent
A - Very good
B - Good
C - Satisfactory
The evaluation committee announced the winners in 4 categories of the call.
