On June 28, 2018, the international conference dedicated to the 60^th anniversary of establishment of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia was held. The Conference “ Manuscript Heritage of Tao-Tlarjeti   “  aimed at presenting the research findings of the project “Manuscript Heritage of Tao-Tlarjeti“ funded by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.

The Principal Investigator of the project – Mzia Surguladze, and participants: Nestan Chkhikvadze, Maia Karanadze, Lela Shatirishvili, Nikoloz Zhgenti, Eter Edisherashvili.

The presenters reviewed the historic-geographical aspects of the Tao-Klarjeti in the scientific literature and manuscripts. The project is divided into sections in accordance to centuries (IX-X, XI-XIII and XIV-XVI). Each chapter is grouped an analyzed based on the manuscripts of each period of time.
