International Summer School of Georgian Studies “Georgian Manuscript”
On July 19, at 10:00, Korneli Kekelidze National Centre of Manuscripts opened Georgian Studies International Summer School “Georgian Manuscript” with the support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.
The summer school is for international researchers and representatives of Georgian universities (masters’ students, PhD students, masters and PhDs) who are interested in history and culture especially study of manuscripts. Their interests are in line with the main scientific directions of Korneli Kekelidze National Centre of Manuscripts (old Georgian philology, study of water, study of archive, culture of handwritten book, restoration, digitalization etc.).
The aim of the project is supporting development of science and attracting international scientists with Georgian culture as well as supporting future collaboration of Georgian and international scientists.
Duration of the summer school is from July 19 until July 28, 2016.
