Today the Chairman of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, Professor Roger Cashmore delivered a lecture ‘Energy in the 21^st century’. The event was organized by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (SRNSF) for the schools focusing on Physics and Mathematics. Prof. Roger Cashmore is a co-chairman of SRNSF International Supervisory Board.

Public lecture was attended by students form Private Demirel College, Tbilisi ‘Komarov’ Physics-Mathematical Boarding School and Georgian-English-Spanish School (Cervantes School),  Minister of Education and Science of Georgia and the Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. Simultaneous interpreting was provided by Aleksandre Pichkhadze, 11^th grade student of Private Demirel College.  

Prof. Roger Cashmore gave a general review of situation in the field of energy, shared other countries’ experience and achievements in energy saving. The lecture was followed by discussion (Questions and Answers).
