On November 18, Director General of Shota Rustaveli foundation – Prof. Zviad Gabisonia met with academic staff, professors and students of St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia.

Prof. Zviad Gabisonia spoke about important issues, problems and challenges of Georgian science, the news planned by Rustaveli Scientific Foundation. He introduced new target calls announced by the Foundation: call for Promotion of Scientific Research Projects and International Scientific Events in Occupied Territories of Georgia and scientific publication grants call, also call for Promotion of Scientific Research Projects and International Scientific Events in Occupied Territories of Georgia, as well as Caucasus studies’ scientific project which will be announced shortly.

Director-General of the Foundation gave a presentation - "New Phase of Integration of Georgian Science into the European Space - New Opportunities for Scientists", spoke about the importance of Georgia's membership of the EU's Interstate Organization for Science and Innovation - EURAXESS - for wider opportunities and new services for Georgian scientists and for its development.

At the end, Prof. Zviad Gabisonia answered the questions of famous scientists at the meeting, listened to their views and suggestions on current important issues.
