On November 25, representatives of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgiaparticipated in an online meeting: "Smart Specialization for Regional Growth in Georgia".The meeting was supported by the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission and coordinated by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. The main purpose of this event is to provide information to the national and regional team members of Smart Specialization/S3 about the implementation of this platform in Georgia, as well as to increase knowledge about the preparation of strategic documents and related processes.

Along with international experts in the field of "Smart Specialization", the meeting was attended by representatives of national policy-making institutions, as well as representatives of business associations and private companies in Georgia, leading research departments of universities, research institutions and non-governmental organizations.
