On July 28,  the meeting was held at the Shota Rustaveli Georgian National Science Foundation between Georgian scientists on the one hand and international expert in science, former president of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) Prof. Dr. Christoph Kratky.

Prof. Kratky will support the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia to fulfill requirements of the EU- Georgia Association Agreement and meet international standards in terms of STI development in Georgia.

The following topics were covered during the meeting: activities and strategy of the Shota Rustaveli Georgian National Science Foundation, international collaboration opportunities for Georgian researchers, support to junior scientists etc.
