Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation Disseminates Information about 2020 grant call of The Data Portability and Services Incubator (DAPSI)

Under the European Commission’s Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative, DAPSI empowers internet innovators with ideas to solve Data Portability challenges, for a vibrant 9-month programme (September 2020 to May 2021).


Program participants receive:

  • Up to €150K equity-free funding
  • Free access to top infrastructure
  • Free training in business and data related topics
  • Free coaching
  • The opportunity to participate in a vibrant ecosystem and shape the internet of the future.

    About the Programme

DAPSI will support around 50 projects through a 9-month programme where experts in diverse fields will provide a successful working methodology, access to top infrastructure, training in business and data related topics, coaching, mentoring, visibility and community building. On top of that, each DAPSI team will receive up to €150k equity-free funding, distributing a total amount of €5.6M through three open calls.

The consortium of DAPSI is formed by six organizations from five different European countries (Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Ireland), strategically selected due to their expertise.

Eligibility:

The target group of this call are:

  • Internet technologists, researchers and innovators
  • Researchers and developers employed in third-level education institutes, research infrastructures, non-profit organizations and charitable (scientific) foundations and research centers or enterprises among others.
  • These expert profiles can apply as individuals or linked to a legal entity.

Hence, the participation is possible in two ways:

  • Natural person(s): One or more individuals (team);
  • Legal entity: one or more entities (consortium);
  • Universities, research centers, NGOs, foundations, micro, small and medium sized enterprises
