The aim of the call.

ა) Deepen scientific cooperation between Georgia and France and facilitate their joint participation in the international scientific research projects.

ბ) Encourage to initiate cooperation between researchers of France and Georgia and promote young scientists career development. 

 

Project proposal type – individual

 

Major terms of the call:

 

  • Eligible applicants: Georgian citizens, who obtained PhD or equivalent Academic degree 12 years prior to the call announcement day, and are supported by the French universities and research institutions (with an official support letter).
  • To get an official support letter, an applicant must address relevant university or research institution of France.
  • An applicant must have proficiency in English or French language;
  • The length of the research fellowship in French universities and research Institutions is 1 month.
  • a) total funding from the foundation is 2 500 EUR (two thousand and five hundred EUR) (1250 EUR – one thousand two hundred and fifty EUR for each project), which includes accommodation and research related expenses.
  1. b) total funding from French Institute of Georgia is 2 500 EUR (two thousand and five hundred EUR) (1250 EUR – one thousand two hundred and fifty EUR for each project), which includes following expenses:
  • scholarship – 750 (Seven hundred and fifty) EUR;

 -    Two – Way international travel – up to 500 (five hundred) EUR.

  • Each applicant is entitled to register only 1 project proposal;
  • After the completion of the research fellowship, grant recipients are required to hold a presentation about implemented activities and outcomes as part of their fellowship. The presentation must be organized in relevant institutions of the grant recipients, in accordance with the timeline, defined by the grant agreement. Relevant materials of this activities must be presented to the foundation.

  • Electronic registration – 2022, March 14 – April 7, 16:00;
  • Deadline for registration at the office of SRNSFG – 2022, April 11 16:00:
  • Eligibility check of the submitted projects: - 2022, April 14;
  • Project evaluation by panel - 2022 May;
  • Approve selected candidates for funding, based on the panel evaluation: 2022 May – June;
  • Signing grant agreement with grant recipients: from June 2022;

 

Consultation meetings will be held in online format (information about the consultation day will be published later).
