Results of the 2025 “Applied Research State Grants” Call
The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 Applied Research State Grants call.
A total of 55 project proposals were submitted in response to the call, with 39 proposals progressing to the evaluation stage after undergoing an eligibility check.
The evaluation process consisted of two stages:
- Assessment of technology transfer and commercialization potential, conducted by local independent experts.
- Scientific evaluation, carried out by international independent expert groups.
Based on the combined scores from both evaluation stages, ranking lists were compiled and the winning projects were identified in accordance with the Rules for Calculating the Final Score of Projects Participating in the Applied Research State Grants, Identifying the Best Projects and Selecting Projects to Be Funded, approved by Order N 09 of the Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia on February 12, 2025.
As a result of this process, 27 projects have been selected for funding.
