Pre-announcement of ERC Visiting Research Fellowship Programme

Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (SRNSFG) pre-announces the new grant scheme for Early Career Researchers’ Fellowship to visit ERC Grantee. The scheme aims to support Georgian researchers’ participation in the ERC Grant Calls and their integration into the international scientific community.

European Research Council (ERC) is one of the major components of the EU framework programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon 2020”, which aims at encouraging the highest quality research in Europe through competitive funding. ERC Visiting Research Fellowship provides additional opportunity to young scientists, including those from Georgia, who wish to expose their research capabilities through collaboration with the ERC funded project PIs/teams and apply to the ERC grant themselves after the fellowship.

  • Tentative date of the call announcement: II – III quarters of 2019
  • Starting of the ERC PI Visiting fellowship: I - II quarters of 2020

Applications will be submitted to the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. Detailed information, including the required documentation and application submission procedures will be published later in July 2019.

Please, find the information and consult the guidelines on the fellowship on ERC Web page.
