There will be an announcement of the joint scientific grant Call of the Rustaveli Foundation and the Higher Education and Science Committee of Armenia
In September 2024, the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (SRNSFG) and the Higher Education and Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia (HESC RA) will launch an international Call for the support of joint research projects conducted by the Georgian and Armenian research groups. The Call will be organized in accordance with the provisions of the Programme on “Cooperation in Science and Technologies” signed on 7 June 2023.
The purpose of the Call is to support joint research projects in the fields of "Natural Sciences", "Engineering and Technology", "Medical Sciences", "Agricultural Sciences" and "Social Sciences and Humanities (in particular Georgian Studies and Armenian Studies) by activating the mobility of researchers.
Project proposals will be developed by Georgian and Armenian research groups and will be submitted for evaluation and approval simultaneously to the SRNSFG and the HESC RA. The proposals will be independently evaluated and approved by each of the two Parties, following their own rules and regulations. The execution period for a joint research project will be two years.
