On June 29, a presentation of the science-popular film - “True Story of the Argonauts, Colchians, and the Golden Fleece” was held at the Georgian National Museum.

The film is a winning project of the  Rustaveli National Science Foundation’s   Grant call for science-popular and educational films.

Teimuraz Dochviri,  Director  General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, took part in the presentation. As he pointed out, supporting and popularizing scientific projects dedicated to the study of cultural heritage and   history is a priority of the Foundation.

The film's director, historian Toma Chagelishvili, and the Director of the Georgian National Museum, David Lordkipanidze, addressed the attending audience.

The goal of the documentary 'The True Story of the Colchians and the Golden Fleece“ is to enhance public awareness on  ancient Colchian history, culture, and the Argonaut myth both within the country and on the international stage, promoting Georgia worldwide.

Members of the creative team announced that the film will be screened at various prestigious international film festivals in the near future, which will contribute to the promotion of Georgian culture and history on the international stage.
