Targeted grant call for the science popularization was announced on the base of decree N 201 of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport on 20 of September 2019 and Decree N 110 of the Director General of Rustaveli Foundation on 18 of October 2019.

On the first stage of the call 45 applications were registered electronically in the foundation.

18 projects moved to the second stage of the call.

The requirement for moving to the second stage of the call was to get 25 or more out of 36 maximum points in the first stage of the project evaluation.

Projects transferred to the second stage of the call.

On December 9, second stage participants will give a presentation to the call commission. The Call Commission evaluates the presentation according to the criteria set forth in Article 13 section 2, Subsection ‘a’ of the decree N 201 of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport on September 20, 2019. Necessary but insufficient condition for project funding is to get 13 or more out of 18 points on the second stage of evaluation.
