EURAXESS – New opportunities for scientists

On October 8, at Georgian Technical University in Niko Nikoladze Session Hall presentation on – "New Phase of Integration of Georgian Science into the European Space - New Opportunities for Scientists" was held, which was attended by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport – Mikheil Batiashvili, Director General of Rustaveli Foundation – Zviad Gabisonia, Rector of Georgian Technical University Archil Frangishvili, Academic and Science representatives.

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Mikheil Batiashvili especially noted the fact that UNESCO has recently named Tbilisi the Capital of World Book 2021, spoke about the importance of membership of our country in the EU Interstate Organization for Science and Innovation – EURAXESS for Georgian scientists, for all scientific institutions. Zviad Gabosonia, Director General of the Rustaveli Foundation, spoke about the idea of ​​EURAXESS - an organization that allows member states to have direct access to not only EU, European Commission calls, but also member states' domestic calls that we did not have before - Georgia is the 41st member of EURAXESS. He, also, gave a presentation on the EURAXESS mission and services, capabilities, as well as the technical aspects of how to register on the portal.
