On June 12, 2018, at 14:00, at Petre Melikishvili Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, was held a presentation of the results of the project "Extraction and analysis of natural food colorants from local agro-industrial waste materials", winner of the 2016 Call for Fundamental Grants. Speakers introduced to the attending audience the results of the research carried out within the project. Specifically, in the framework of the project were developed the modern extraction procedures, quantitative analysis methods, and a multistage laboratory technological scheme to obtain natural colorants in powder form from agro-industrial waste materials.
