On October 17, International conference was held on: "The Constitutional State's Responses to Global Threats." in the framework of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Tbilisi Open University’s joint event - “European security and modern constitutional state (example of Georgia). Conference was supported by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. Conference participants were addressed by the Director general of SRNSFG – Zviad Gabisonia, who wished success to university’s joint project. He discussed such important issues as freedom of movement, the problem of occupation and national security, including energy security and human rights protection.

The conference was attended by the rector of Tbilisi Open University, Giorgi Amilakhvari, Georgian and foreign scientists. Leading scholars from the Autonomous University of Barcelona delivered a report.
