Winners of “Georgian Studies” the joint research program of 2017 by the Foundation and Oxford University were revealed.

9 applications were registered for the competition in 2017. The Joint Commission of Oxford University and the Foundation conducted interviews with 7 applicants who passed the second stage of the evaluation.

The winners have to submit the documents approved by the Decree of the Director General of the Foundation till July 21^st 17:00 PM, at the Chancellery of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. Winners will be financed as invited researchers on a 12-month research tour in the United Kingdom, Oxford University, School of Interdisciplinary Studies (http://www.area-studies.ox.ac.uk), at Russian and East European Studies Center (http://www.rees.ox.ac.uk) and will conduct research in collaboration with a highly qualified mentor selected by Oxford University.
