In the frames of the EU-Erasmus+ project "Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities" (ETHICS) representatives of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia: Director General - Professor Erekle Astakhishvili and representative  of the office of International Relations and Fundraising Mariam Mosiashvili attended the first Kick-off meeting held in Prague.

Charles University, the European partner of the " ETHICS" project hosted  the first Kick-off meeting held from May 1 to May 6 of this year in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

This meeting was the first opportunity for project partners to discuss project goals and work packages, as well as future plans that will enable higher education institutions to maintain high research quality and ethical standards. The meeting also aimed at the formation of working groups provided for by the "ETHICS" project.

The aim of the national structural reform project ‘Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)’ is to launch a systemic improvement intervention to improve the quality of University and Research-Performing Organizations (RPOs) research through launching measures to adhere to the foundations of high-quality research and excellence.

ETHICS Consortium is composed by 17 Members.
