Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, Prof. Dr. Erekle Astakhishvili, held a working meeting with the delegation of the Max Weber Foundation.

The Max Weber Foundation is one of the leading scientific organizations in the Federal Republic of Germany, which supports research in the fields of humanities and social sciences both within the country and abroad. The German organization unites eleven autonomous institutions in different countries of the world, which perform a connecting function between the host countries and Germany. In the near future, the Max Weber Foundation plans to establish its own representative office in Georgia.

Director General of the Rustaveli Foundation introduced the activities of the Foundation to the German side and highlighted the Georgian-German relations in the scientific field.
