The Meeting of Representatives from Georgian Technical University and KEK with the Director General of the Foundation
The Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, Teimuraz Dochviri, hosted representatives from the Georgian Technical University and Japan’s High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK).
The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Tamar Lominadze; the Director of the Institute of Quantum Physics and Engineering Technologies at the Georgian Technical University and leader of the university’s scientific group at CERN and KEK, Professor Zviad Tsamalaidze; and KEK Professor and scientist, Satoshi Mihara.
During the meeting, Teimuraz Dochviri introduced the guests to the foundation’s current activities and future plans.
Representatives from both the Japanese and Georgian sides discussed prospects for expanding cooperation. KEK Professor Satoshi Mihara expressed his readiness to strengthen ties with Georgian scientists and support them.
Teimuraz Dochviri highlighted the importance of deepening future scientific collaboration between Georgian and Japanese scientists, which will significantly contribute to the professional growth and development of young researchers.
