The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Georgia, Ran Gidor.

At the meeting, the Director General of the Foundation Zviad Gabisonia briefed the Ambassador of Israel on the activities of the Foundation and noted the importance of deepening international cooperation. The sides discussed the schemes of scientific cooperation between Georgia and Israel and also clearly stated the need to deepen the scientific cooperation between the two countries. At the meeting was discussed the commercialization aspect of science, with Zviad Gabisonia and Ran Gidor unanimously stating that future cooperation schemes will inevitably focus on science and the private sector.
