Joint scientific grant competition of Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council (TUBITAK) and LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation

The aim of the competition is to deepen the cooperation between Georgia and Turkey by promoting the cooperation between the higher education institutions and scientists of scientific-research centers, scientific-research mobility of scientists of two countries  and joint scientific research projects.

The competition provides grant funding to conduct:

  1. Joint research projects
  2. Short-term exchange research visits of scientists.

Target Group: A group of scientists of Georgia and a group of Turkish scientists have the right to present a joint research project. The group of Georgian scientists will present a joint research project at Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (SRNSF) and same research project will be presented at Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council (TUBITAK) by the Turkish scientists group. A group of scientists presenting the joint research project from Georgia should have a project manager from Georgia and a group of researchers from Turkey should have a project manager from Turkey. Georgian citizens who comply with the following terms have the rights to submit an individual research visit project:

  1. MA, PhD students and citizens under 35 years, with a master’s or an equivalent academic degree;
  2. Citizens with a PhD or an equivalent degree.

 

Duration of the joint research project should not exceed 24 months.
