Goals of the Call:

• Developing intellectual potential and training high quality scientific personnel;
• Targeted use of intellectual potential in higher education institutions;
• Providing proper environment for scientific research;
• Integrating young scientists into international scientific community;
• Identification of young, talented scientists and supporting their research in in accordance with international standards;
• Advancing the quality of research in the country;
• Increasing the academic level of PhD educational programmes across the country.
• Providing proper conditions for young researchers

Project proposals can be submitted in fields defined by scientific field classifier:

• Natural sciences;
• Engineering and technology;
• Medicine and healthcare;
• Agricultural sciences;
• Social Sciences;
• Humanitarian sciences;
• Georgian Studies.

 

Grant can be obtained based only on open competition!

Individuals, who has Georgian citizenship and studying to obtain PhD degree at Georgian higher educational institutions, can submit project proposal.

It is forbidden to submit more than one proposal by the same person.

Financial requirements:

• Funded required from the SRNSFG should not exceeded 10 500 GEL (6 months) in one accounted period);
• Phd fund should not exceed 5250 GEL (6 months) in one accounted period;

Duration of project: 6-36 months (according to the requirements of the call)

The call will be announced as soon as, Ministry of Education and science of Georgia prove decree of the call
