The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) at the end of March will announce the joint RUSTAVELI–DAAD Fellowship Programme Grant Competition.

Within the framework of the grant competition, funding will be provided for projects that support research stays in German higher education institutions and/or research institutes for:

· early-career researchers (postdoctoral fellows)

· doctoral candidates

· doctoral candidates enrolled in joint doctoral programmes

Type of project proposal: Individual

The grant competition covers the following scientific fields, in accordance with the DAAD classification:

 

Ø Languages and Cultural Studies

Ø Law, Economics, and Social Sciences

Ø Mathematics and Natural Sciences

Ø Medicine

Ø Veterinary Medicine, Forestry, Ecology, Agricultural and Food Sciences

Ø Engineering

Ø Art, Music and Sport Sciences;
