The premiere of the movie "Talking Stones" supported by the Rustaveli Foundation

 

On January 17, the premiere of the scientific-popular film "Talking Stones" was held  at the Cinema House as part of the winning project of  the grant call for supporting of creation scientific – popular  films,  administered by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. The film was presented by the project's head and the film director, Davit Goguadze.

The Director General of the Rustaveli National Science Foundation, Teimuraz Dochviri, emphasized the significant importance of the foundation’s grant call for supporting of creation scientific – popular    films. The purpose of this initiative is to elevate the values of Georgia's historical and cultural heritage onto the international stage and to produce scientific-popular films about Georgian science,  established   on reliable sources.  

 The Foundation's Director General highlighted the scientific and artistic value of the film "Talking Stones". He emphasized that such cognitive films contribute to spark  interest in the historical past among the general public, particularly,  among students. The goal is to better comprehend the history, reinforcing the connection between the historical past and the present, ultimately serving as the successful foundation for the future.
