The 36th International Biology Olympiad was held in the Philippines  from July 20-27, with the participation of  the Georgian national  team.

The selection, preparation, and participation of Georgian national teams in the International  Biology  Olympiad are organized by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia.

Members of the Georgian national teams are: Nikoloz Tkebuchava- Vladimir Komarov Tbilisi Physics-Mathematics Public School N199,  David Kukhalashvili- Rustavi N7 Public School, Anano Kadaria-    Zugdidi  Public School  N2 named after Merab Kostava; Lizi Chachua- Vladimir Komarov Tbilisi Physics-Mathematics Public School N199.

The leader of the team is Eka Khurtsidze, co-leader – Irina  Modebadze, assistant – Nana Barnaveli,  and supporting teacher- Eka Mitaishvili.
