Research Management School and “Horizon Europe” National Office organized an interactive training

On April 19-20, 2022, Research Management School and “Horizon Europe” National Office organized an interactive training for coordinators of grant offices from universities across Georgia.
Local and international experts delivered training in the scope of the abovementioned event. Training was made up of a range of interactive exercises. In the scope of the training, international funding schemes available in the scope of “Horizon Europe” framework programme were discussed. Future activities have been planned that will be carried out by Research Management School and “Horizon Europe” National Office together with the University Grants Offices.
Research Management School is a joint project of the Ministry of Education, the Rustaveli National Science Foundation and “Horizon Europe” National Office, which aims to promote internationalization of scientific activities and integration of Georgian scientists into the European scientific scene.
Research Management School ensures an effective coordinated relationship between the EU’s science and research policy priorities and existing activities and it also encourages Georgian scientists and researchers to develop appropriate skills to make their projects competitive, successful and fulfill required criteria for joining an international consortium.
The event was attended by Jaba Samushia, Director of the Rustaveli National Science Foundation, Zaza Maruashvili, Deputy Head of the Higher Education DevelopmentDepartment of the Ministry of Education and Science and Inese Gavarani, Resident Advisor of the EU Twinining Programme.
