Call for MA research scholarships grants 2016

The goal of the competition is: to support quality enhancement in scientific studies, raising academic level and development of research skills - related to the master's thesis of students enrolled at the accredited Master’s educational program, as well as to support improvement of higher educational institutions research capacity and integration of research in learning processes and support development of thematic and/or interdisciplinary research activities.

Competition is open to Georgian citizens, graduate students (with active student status) enrolled in higher educational institutions’ accredited Master’s educational program. In the grant receiving period, an applicant must be the final year student or previous semester student of Master’s educational program.

The projects participating in the competition may last 4-10 months, the total project budget - requested from the Foundation - should not exceed 6 000 GEL.

Project implementation should be planned during 01/01/2017 - 31/12/2017 period.

For participation in the competition, the applicants are required to submit documentation by e-mail at the following address: mr@rustaveli.org.ge from July 4 - including October 3, 2016, 17:00.

Statement of participation in the competition must be submitted to the Foundation Office by October 7, 2016 at 17:00 to the following address: Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (office), 3rd floor, 1 Merab Aleksidze Street, Tbilisi.

Applications submitted by breaking the submission deadline will not be considered for the competition. Projects submitted breaking the deadline stated in the competition terms, will not be considered. In case of breaking the established rules and incompliance with format requirements for the document submission, the projects will be removed from the competition.

It is possible to ask questions via e-mail until September 19, 2016. The answers will be published in "frequently asked questions" on the foundation’s website.

07/10/2016 17:00  - deadline for registration of printed and signed application forms at the Foundation Office;

 

24/11/2016 – publishing competition results;

24/11/2016-05/12/2016 – signing agreements.
