On January 30, Zviad Gabisonia, Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, met with the academic staff, professors and students of the National University of Georgia.

The meeting was opened by SEU’ Rector Gia Kavtelishvili; Giorgi Tskhvediani, Vice-Rector of the same University, welcomed and thanked the Director General of the Foundation.

The Director General of the Foundation, Professor Zviad Gabisonia delivered a presentation on the Foundation's activities. He spoke about the importance of Georgia's membership of the EU Interstate Organization for Science and Innovation - EURAXESS -  about the broad opportunities for Georgian scientists, as well as programs and calls announced by the Foundation in 2019, new targeted calls, priorities and plans for 2020, important projects.

At the end of the presentation Zviad Gabisonia answered the questions of the young scientists and the audience.
