Kickoff meeting of the Horizon Europe-funded project "LUKE" in Brussels
On February 5-6, 2025, Kickoff meeting of the Horizon Europe-funded project "Linking Ukraine to the European Research Area - Joint Funding and Capacity Building Platform for Enhanced Research and Innovation Cooperation (LUKE)" was held at the EU Liaison Office of German Research Organizations (KoWi) in Brussels.
The project started on January 1, 2025, and will last 48 months. The project coordinator is the German Project Management Agency DLR. Representatives of a consortium of 25 institutions from 15 European countries participated in the meeting, discussed the project work plan, and exchanged ideas on various opportunities for funding joint projects.
LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia represents the consortium's partner organization and the meeting was attended by Nino Machurishvili, Research Development Coordinator of the Scientific Department.
