LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, National intellectual property of Georgia (SAKPATENTI), and the following Legal Entities of Public Law under the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia: Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Ilia State university, Georgian Technical University, Tbilisi State Medical University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Akaki Tsereteli State University and Sokhumi State University signed the agreement with the LLC “Clarivate Analytics”. According to the agreement, signatory universities with Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia will have access to the “web of Science” collection from December 8, 2017. The web collection includes 16 000 scientific magazines of every fields- Technical science, medicine, social sciences, humanities and Art. The database includes information regarding Author’s index, which is the best indicator to assess the article, its importance and research impact.  The access to ‘’Web of Science’’ will allow the scientists working in Georgia to search the most important thematic papers in their field and find the best collaborator for a research and a high-impact magazine to publish their research. Via the “Web of Science” database the university administrations will have the opportunity to improve their scientific development strategies.

Within the agreement LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and Georgian National Intellectual Property Center ‘’ Sakpatenti’’ will have access to Derwent World Patent Index, which is a unique patent database and contains patent names, abstracts, information about the owner and expert classification, with the 90 % search relevance accuracy.
