On February 15, 2018, a three-day International Conference on the topic: studying/teaching the second language in the context of multilingual education was opened. The conference will end on February 17.

The third conference is funded by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and is conducted by the Center for Civil Integration and Inter-Ethnic Relations (CCIIR), in cooperation with Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the University of Tartu (Estonia).

The purpose is to consider and convey the concept of local and foreign specialists on approaches and strategies for teaching second language in the context of multilingual education.
