On October 9, with the support of the Kyrgyz Science Foundation and International Science and Technology Center (ISTC), an online round table was held on "Epidemiological Challenges - Creating a Regional Mechanism for Joint Work."

Representatives of scientific foundations and research institutes of the Caucasus and Central Asia participated in the meeting.

The topic of the meeting was the establishment of a Regional Council of Scientists, which aims to unite countries around the large-scale problem caused by the coronavirus, which will ensure the organization of joint programs and conferences by scientific societies of member states.
