Presentations regarding the participation of Georgian scientists in international projects
On 4th of October, within the framework of Science and Innovation Festival of Georgia, administrative building of Georgian Technical University hosted an event, during which speakers made presentations about the participation of Georgian scientists in international scientific projects and experiments.
The first half of the event was dedicated to the discussion of CMS project, conducted by international scientific centers.
Speakers presented the following presentations:
Arsen Kvedelidze - Institute of Quantum Physics and Engineering Technologies;
Zviad Tsmalaidze - 25(1992-2017) years in collaboration;
Iuri Baghaturia, Irakli Lomidze - RPC system of Myonic spectrometer;
Giorgi Adamovi - Hadronic calorimeter;
Erekle Maghradze - Central omputer system;
Aleksandre Melkadze, Otar Kemularia - CMS geometry revision;
Davit Lomidze - Participation in central and sub detectors sessions, DQM-OFFLINE, RPC and HCAL;
The second half of the meeting was dedicated to the discussion of COMET - COMET (KEK, J-PARC, JAPAN).

Nika Tsverava - Straw detector system;
Davit Lomidze - Cosmic veto computing system;
Arsen Khvedelidze, Zviad Tsamalaidze - Future perspective;
The event was organized by the Shota Rustaveli National Science foundation of Georgia and Georgian Technical University.
