On September 10, the Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia - Prof. Jaba Samushia held a meeting with the representatives of the Institute of National Remembrance of Poland, which is Polish state organization with the focus of the research and popularization of modern history of Poland, in particular: to investigate the criminal committed in the communism and WW2 periods. 

On the meeting, Prof. Samushia underlined the importance of cooperation for Georgia to Poland and expressed will to initiate collaboration with this institute. cooperation may include Joint Grant Programme, which facilitates joint projects implementation of Polish and Georgian scientists/historians. Polish side emphasized readiness towards cooperation development with Georgia.
