Rustaveli Science Foundation of Georgia hosted the representatives of Mieroszewski Center in Poland

 

Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, Prof. Dr. Erekle Astakhishvili hosted Ernest Wyciszkiewicz, Director of Mieroszewski Center of the Republic of Poland.

At the meeting, the director of the foundation introduced the representatives the mission of the foundation, current activities and future plans to the Polish side. During the conversation the Georgian and Polish side highlighted the prospect of cooperation between the Rustaveli Foundation and the Mieroszewski Center in various directions: the implementation of joint scientific-research projects, mobility and international scientific events, publishing events.

The Mieroszewski Center is a funding organization for Polish studies and science. The goal of the organization within the framework of promoting historical studies, is to support the democratic development of Eastern European states, especially Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, and Moldova, their rapprochement with Euro-Atlantic structures and deepening of ties with Poland.
