26 May celebration – Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia

 

The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia took part in the ceremonial celebration commemorating Georgia's Independence Day, held in Telavi. First Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Aleksandre Tsuladze, alongside Deputy Ministers Nodar Papukashvili and Gela Geladze, familiarized themselves with the various activities showcased at the Rustaveli Foundation's stand. The Director-General of the Foundation, Teimuraz Dochviri, presented significant innovative projects that  succeeded  in the state grant calls of the Foundation. Winners of state grant calls administered by the Foundation – including the grant call for young inventors and researchers Leonardo Da Vinci, as well as the "Science Begins at School - Research Projects with Participation of Secondary School Students” and their teachers presented a demonstration of successful inventions, models and conducted demonstration and entertaining experiments. Also, a cognitive quiz on science topics was conducted as part of the event. The winners were awarded with symbolic prizes and gifts.
