The conference based on the grant project funded by SRNSFG, agreement MG_CG_09-3004/5344, was held on December 1, 2017, in the hotel "Holiday Inn Tbilisi". The conference named “Annual Congress of the Georgian Urological Association: Multidisciplinary Management of the Oncological Diseases", was attended by the members of the Georgian Urological Association, Georgian Urologists, Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists and Radiologists from 20 medical institutions of Georgia - over 200 people. The aim of the project was to review the latest recommendations of the European Urological Association regarding management of urological and oncological diseases, to set up the recommendations into clinical practice and to improve the results of treatment for Georgian patients, to analyze and plan the development of urological science in Georgia; to promote the Georgian urological science across Europe and to establish its leading role in the region (The Caucasus-Central Asia). In frames of the project, analysis of the most problematic cases has been conducted. Different principles of the disease management were presented by various specialists. Each session was concluded by an interactive discussion. 

The Georgian Urological Association is planning to arrange a large-scale congress with broader involvement of the Georgian and foreign delegates in summer, 2018.
