On October 5, 2018 NCDC hosted introductory, work meeting for representatives of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and professor of US’s National Institution of Health, Mr. Leonid Margolis.

Prof. Leonid Margolis visited Georgia in frames of US Embassy project – “Embassy Science Fellows Programme”.

Project implementation includes, visit of US leading scientific center representative in Georgia, particularly in Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, for introducing to STI system of Georgia, sharing experience and precise recommendations to Georgian side concerning future development of STI system.

At National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Prof. Margolis, representatives and Director General of SRNSFG, Prof. Zviad Gabisonia were introduced to unique and high quality research projects implemented by Richard Lugar Center for Public Health Research, to future plans and successful partnership with US side.
