The Success of the Georgian National Team at the International Physics Olympiad
The Georgian national team successfully competed at the 54th International Physics Olympiad (IPHO 2024) held in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Georgian National Team won 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
The silver medals were won by Luka Chilavadze and Tornike Tsadzikidze, students of Vladimir Komarov Tbilisi Physics and Mathematics Public School N199, Davit Klidiashvili and Tsotne Giorgadze, students of Vladimir Komarov Tbilisi Physics and Mathematics Public School N199, won bronze medals.
The selection and participation of Georgia's national teams in international educational Olympiads are organized through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and by the administration of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.
The leader of the team is Ramaz Khomeriki, co-leader - Grigol Pheradze, assistant - Giorgi Bakhtadze, assistant teacher - Zurab Ugulava.
International Academic Olympiads are renowned for their scale and rich history. Their primary objective is to elevate and refine students' knowledge and skills, to share international experience.
