Remarkable Success of the Georgian national team at the International Mathematics Olympiad
The Georgian national team successfully competed at the 66th International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO 2025) held in Australia.
Bronze medals were awarded to students of Vladimir Komarov Tbilisi Physics-Mathematics Public School N199 – Ivane Kobaidze and Irakli Sherozia, certificates of honor were awarded to students from the same school – Sandro Zhghenti, Vano Elizbarashvili and Tevdore Onashvili.
The selection, preparation, and participation of Georgian national teams in the International Mathematics Olympiad are organized by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia.
The leader of the team is Giorgi Chelidze, co-leader – Givi Nadibaidze, assistant – Giorgi Svanadze, and supporting teacher- Ivane Gokadze.
International Academic Olympiads are renowned for their scale and rich history. Their primary objective is to elevate and refine students' knowledge and skills, to share international experience.
